This was a High School piece from freshman year. I wanted to do something more meaningful, and not straight from a photo. I didn't really fully succeed in portraying the message very well, but at least I tried. There are many things I would do differently now, but the point that i was trying to get across was that we worry so much about our menial problems while other people in various parts of the world are fighting to simply survive.
