five minute warm-up: Tis my first attempt at SketchbookPro
This is Solonge. We would go and visit her several times a week in France. She'd recently joined the church, and just was the funniest, strangest lady. Man I love her. She passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd do a sketch of her. I'll never forget the Sunday she came up to me with the smile and excitement of a child on Christmas as she took my hands and said, "I paid my tithing! I just paid my tithing!" Although she was terribly poor, she knew without a doubt that blessings would come because of her obedience. I'll never forget her.
